Compassionate Care

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)
The Compassionate Care Ministry plans and executes visitation of members, family and friends who are sick (hospital, home, hospice). We also coordinate communions / worship recordings for those who are sick and shut in. We send cards to parents with new births, and to those who are sick, grieving, hurting, etc. We communicate with Ministry Staff about persons listed above and we stay in dialogue with their members. We also recruit others to serve in this ministry. We remember our calling to serve and the strength that we need to be successful in this ministry comes completely from God and, all of our Compassionate Care efforts will be driven by a total reliance on the Lord through constant prayer.
